Self-lubricating GRAPHALLOY®  flange blocks can reduce maintenance and frequent replacements for increased reliability and years of trouble-free operation.  These flange blocks provide install and forget service in harsh environments and for temperatures ranging from -450º to more than 1000º F ( -240º  to more than 540º C ).  GRAPHALLOY bushings allow for linear expansion of the shaft through the flange blocks.  For a complete list of GRAPHALLOY benefits see our features page.

STANDARD DUTY FLANGE BLOCKS

Flange Block Assemblies Type 318

Type 318   4 BOLT SELF-ALIGNING FLANGE  BLOCK
Stainless Steel: shaft sizes ½ to 1½ "

These stainless steel flanges are commonly used in dampers, louvers, and shutter installations.  The stainless steel housing makes these flange blocks ideal for wash down and other harsh applications.

Flange Block Assemblies Type 517

Type 517  3 BOLT SELF-ALIGNING FLANGE BLOCK
Plated carbon steel: shaft sizes ½ to 2½"

This flange assembly provides for initial self alignment.  The broad size range makes the 517 series an economical solution for damper and other hard to lubricate applications.
Flange Block Assemblies Type 845f2

Type 845F2   2 BOLT SELF-ALIGNING FLANGE  BLOCK
Cast Iron: shaft sizes ½ to 2½"

These two bolt flanges are dimensionally interchangeable with traditional ball bearing units.  Used where grease lubricated ball bearings are failing due to environment or temperature.   Common applications include food and industrial ovens, veneer and plywood dryers, and other high temperature services.  Also available in stainless steel and plastic composite housings.

Type 845F4   4 BOLT SELF-ALIGNING FLANGE  BLOCK Cast Iron: shaft sizes ½ to 3"

Type 845   SPHERICAL INSERTS FOR STANDARD PILLOW BLOCKS: shaft sizes ½ to 3"

These inserts fit into the 845 style pillow blocks. They may also be used as a substitute for traditional ball bearing inserts in many standard housings produced by other manufacturers

These rugged cast iron units are commonly used in dampers, conveyors, plating tanks and other tough environments.

Flange Block Assemblies Type 448

Type 448  4 BOLT SELF-ALIGNING FLANGE  BLOCK
Cast Iron: Shaft sizes 1 to 3"

The 448 heavy duty flange blocks provide a self-aligning solution in a compact size for difficult applications such as veneer, plywood and board dryers as well as oven conveyors. Replacement inserts are available.
